So you all know that I am headed to Africa. Well, I have a little work to do to get there (don't worry you all and about 300 other people will get plenty of opportunity to hear all about it and help me get there and stay there)so, I basically have accepted a contract job. The job is with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) as an Enrollment Specialist. What that means is that I will be traveling Nationally to current client sites (like a factory or plant) and will give presentations and answer questions about employee benefits. The perks are that I will get to talk to a lot of new people...which in my mind says that I will meet some new people that I can talk about Africa with. I will also get to keep all of my frequent flier miles...so I hope that adds up! The pay is enough, I wouldn't say it is amazing, but hey, how could I get this type of job for just three months? It really just seems to be a God thing.
Oh, I didn't mention that when I applied for this job they were expecting that I was relocating to Chicago...but since then it just doesn't make sense for me to do that financially (since I am moving to Africa and all). So, that was my first question for them...can I be based in Dallas? And they said, YES!!
So, I can live inexpensively and SAVE, SAVE, SAVE....can you say, BUDGET, BUDGET, BUDGET???
So, I need to dig out all my suits from UPS...brush up on my Insurance and get used to smiling at people....
Actually, about that...I just started a teeth whitening program and am excited to see what my pearly whites look like in the next two weeks. It is a program from my dentist and the teeth trays are custom made...ohhh!

I am jealous of course about the teeth whitening program as I have wanted to do that for years and have not been able to yet!
I have to say it's exciting to see how things are unfolding. You seem to be one of the most vocationally versatile people I have ever met. :) Something I'm sure is God-designed and a much-needed fit with Aaron's Hands. :) PS: Tell A.J. that Chrest Whitestrips work beautifully. Apart from having a professionally whitening (which is of course superior) they really are some of the best things going. I've tried them; worked beautifully; people noticed, too. ;)
