Friends....

Do you have those friends that you love to argue with? I have a few. One in particular is a new friend, that is more like an adored older sister than a friend. This friend and I haven't been friends for very long (as she said tonight" it's not like we have known each other for 20 years, its been like ...what, 4 days?" It has actually been more like 4-6mos, but whose counting, right? The funny part about her comment was that if we had been friends for the last 20 years....she would have been a 23 year old with an 11 year old friend. Age is funny sometimes (when I am the younger one, that is...).

Anyway, I just wanted to honor my friend in my blog world. She is incredibly funny, loyal, generous, thoughtful, and all while being stylish and highly respected. It was a funny talk we had tonight. We argued (translation- I argued with her)...we laughed...I cried.
You know I feel called to support leaders...that is what Aaron's Hands is all about. This friend is an incredible leader....a principal, actually. It has been my pleasure to serve her the last few months and I hope that I will get the honor again in the future. But, until then, I am off to serve other leaders for this season...so....

I know I didn't say it when you wanted me to....but I am saying it now...I am going to MISS you Paulette (but we will always have Skyscraper!) :)
