How is it possible to be surounded by people and still be alone? Yet, it happens all the time, doesn't it? We click with some people more than we do others. That is a fact, right? I get that. It isn't possible to always be invited to things....when you live in a big place and have a separate life from where you work, sometimes you don't know you aren't invited. You are busy and you have different "groups" of friends.
Here on the mission field, things are different. We all live within feet of each other. We know when we just aren't invited to hang out. It is obvious when a group of girls does something while I sit alone on my couch.....to obvious. Should I understand? Well, of course I should. Do I? To a degree, yes. Sometimes you just want to hang out with certain people....I get that.
I am just that personality that hates "missing things". I like to be in on private jokes and I like to be with people. I am an extrovert to the max. It is not easy being an extrovert here. Once I was told that I needed to spread that love that I have for people around to many....that is difficult when there aren't that many people.

I would love to be able to be alone and veg in front of a TV. Enjoy it as best you can, it may not come around again.
i will pray for you today.
BN-I was actually working while watching TV...but thanks for the encouragement! Do I know you?
Thanks for the prayers. Please understand that I wasn't "complaining", just thinking about the dynamics of living in a small community in Africa....it is so much different than metropolitan America
