No seriously, I thought one trip to Supa Quick was enough for a vacation, but no....I found out today that isn't the case in South Africa. Today as we were leaving Port Edward I was going through an intersection on a very populated road (at the speed limit) and hit a doozy of a pot hole....popped the hub cap off and it went rolling....fortunately we were near a gas station...and had a spare (thanks to the 1st trip to Supa Quick). We were able to have the rim fixed, but the hubcap (that Marci ran into an intersection to fetch ) wasn't going to work....and it later flew off (even though we zip tied it).....so we are on the hunt for a new hubcap.
We got on the N2.....I love the N2.....nice smooth interstate...went at least 120 all the way! We made it to Richard's Bay....nice little town...I will come here again. we went sailing...not exactly what I was hoping for....but okay. So we stayed at this motel called Formula 1....oh my word....it as fairly clean...but think Motel 6 and then go down a few notches. The neat feature was you could take a shower and use the bathroom at the same time! :) It was cheap and safe...so good for a night!
Now it is still overcast with a prediction of Thunderstorms and we are going camping on a TURTLE TOUR......nice. I will let you know how it goes. Only a few days left.....I will let you know how it goes.
