We heard that Cape Vidal in St. Lucia is a gREAT place to snorkel. So we planned to head out early this morning...snorkel for an hour or so and head back in time to shower and check out of our hostel. I rented a snorkel set (R50) we headed up that way...through a game park (R85 entrance fee) ...it was a nice drive but was a little slower than planned as we had to slow down for people looking at Warthogs and Kudu (we are so beyond those...see them all the time...like dogs in America). We got there and noticed the water looked a little rough for snorkeling....ahhh High Tide...bad time to snorkel. Our plan was foiled!!! SHAME!!
So we collected a few shells and headed back to the hostel. We drove to Swazi today...not far really. The Border crossing was HILARIOUS!!! No signs...lots of people...two places to get stamps (South AFrica and Swaziland)....oh so funny. We saw a new Speed Hump sign.... I will try to get a picture tomorrow. We will stay here for a few hours tomorrow and then head back to Joburg. I will post a little more about the people here....they are simply amazing...really. The nicest people I have met.
