That last one was a doozie...

Ashley and I with Sad Faces as we leave Zurich, realizing that we are leaving new found family in Africa!

After 36 hours of travel we finally made it "home". Everything was fine until our last flight...Ash and I slept well on our flight to Zurich and we were refreshingly awake at 6am when we landed. We took a little nap, cause that is EARLY and at 8am we went to our gate and awaited the next flight. Our next flight was only 8 hours but felt much longer. We did okay on that flight too, but after arriving in NY and waiting 6hours for our next flight, we nearly were passed out on that last 3 hour flight...which meant I was WIDE AWAKE until I took a sleeping pill at 2:30am this morning.

Did I mention that I was already missing being in Africa....strange I think, but I think it has to do with the fact that I don't have a ton going on here right now and I know that they have TONS going on there. It is tempting to hope back on a flight and go back....oh, if I had the money, I might just do that.

I admit, I have already called and emailed more in the last 24 hours than I normally would in 24 days :).... I crack myself up sometimes.

I have heard of rummor that I have friends who are checking this blog that haven't told me so....so, please leave a comment, send me an email...let's chat!!

Hey charlene -

I always have fun checking your blog and reading your posts. I believe you should be informed that somehow the font size on your blog page has been bumped and is large enough to be read by the legally blind. :) Anyhoo. It's not bothering me, though ... still having fun reading your blogs. By the way, I always had a harder time with jet lag coming back to the states than leaving. So I'm with you.

I am spending the day catching up on your blog entries. I was 11 behind but I think I am down to 4 now. I get the impression you will be leaving us (by US I mean North America) for Africa.... hmmm..... well i guess you can't keep the missionary down for long!
