Well, I am in Chicago for a few days rest before my next trip. I had a very good tour and I find that the more I do this, the more I am learing how to do it better! So, the last trip of the year should be GREAT!

Yep, I had another 8th grade group. Pretty good kids that listened well and didn't complain...well, at least not that much. :) I did more prizes and definitely joked around more....you know, like telling them that the Washington monument is two colors because they lower it into the ground every night so the planes won't hit it! (oh, did some of you really believe that!ha ha). Things went pretty well, except for the fact that I nearly had a heart attack taking them on the metro.....but I didn't loose anyone....then there was the last day when we walked just "a little" out of the way, because...well, I got turned around. We were on our way to the WHITE HOUSE and I took a left out of the Regan building (I thought we were on Pennsylvannia), next thing I know I am looking at the Washington Monument....oopss...one or two blocks off...so, we just kept walking....and we made it there, no problem!

My next trip is a group from Hawaii and we have an 8 day trip...from Williamsburg to NYC....FUN, FUN!! I am looking forward to it.
