"God, do you see...?"

I was reading an article in a magizine this morning where the author was recounting a Christmas when she was looking for two more engines for the Thomas the Tank engine collection for her grandson. There was quite a rush on these and "Gordon" and "Henry" were no where to be found.

Well, after looking at Wal-mart and on every website possible, the author kept repeating "We can't find Gordon, we can't find Henry". A few days after Christmas, her grandson ran up to her and said, "We have to go to Wal-mart RIGHT NOW? because Gordon and Henry are lost!". She was amazed to realize how he had over heard her earlier and how he had processed it. He went home that night and on the way home he was praying in the back seat- "God, do you see Gordon? Do you see Henry?" After hearing this from her daughter, the author went to the computer and there on the FIRST website found Gordon and Henry and had them delivered two days later. When her grandson arrived he hugged his newest engines and exclaimed "Thank you"!

After contemplating about how God had answered her grandson's request so quickly, she said "God, do you see my bank account"? Two weeks later, she received a letter in the mail that explained that some new friends had sold a house and wanted to share some of the proceeds with those in ministry. When they were praying they saw the author and her husband. So they sent a check for $2,300.

Well, as you can imagine I prayed right after reading this..."God, do you see my debt? Do you see my bank account?" This afternoon, I got a call from a friend who has a coworker who just sold a painting for $7,500 and wanted to sow some of the proceeds, so she had written me a check for $300. WOW!! Keep in mind that I DO NOT KNOW THIS PERSON. My friend had told her about Aaron's Hands and the move to Africa because we are doing a fundraiser at a business fair in a few weeks....and she felt like she should give.

He sure does love us...and answers very quickly. "How much more shall your Father in Heaven give good gifts to them that ask Him" (Matt. 7)
