The stupid test...

Okay, so if I didn't mention it before, we (myself and the other new tour leaders for ACTS) had to take a test given by the District of Columbia to get a license to be a tour guide. We took that dreaded test yesterday.... We found that four of the seven got one test and the other three got another....the three of us are worried.

I must explain- first of all, the wonderful government does not tell you what will be on the test or what to study...it could be ANYTHING RELATING to the history of our country, buildings, statues, addresses...you name it and it could be on there. From experience the company has collected questions that have been on previous tests and that is what we studied.

Unfortunately there were MANY things on our test that we did not know or study at all...including things such as When was Frederick Douglass born, where was he born, and what was his birth name? Also questions about the Octogon House and we had to identify some buildings and statues from pictures that are copies of copies of copies of copies of copies of copies of copies...well, you get the picture, right?

By the way, you all guessed correctly about who I was in the last post...that was me..all teeth on the right. Tonight I have two pictures for you...one is a history question and is one of the questions I got WRONG (actually three that I got wrong).

Keep in mind that the picture I am about to show you is about 200X better than the one I was looking at:

Who is this a statue of?
Where is it located?
What was his contribution to the District of Columbia?

Any guesses????

For the next two pictures.... Which one am I?
Who do you think is with me (hint: we are related)?
Which state and I in?
What is that white stuff?

Oh the first guy: ummmm George Washington (well at least it looks like him the last time I went to his house for tea…. He didn’t offer any biscuits but I have forgiven him now)

The pictures of you threatening the picture taker with large chunks of snow: I think it's a nephew (possibly niece as snowsuits with hoods on make things very difficult!) and I think you are in Pennsylvania somewhere as the road behind you tend to indicate some sort of mountain or hill like area! How did I do?
