Okay before I go on with my post, I must say HAPPY BIRTHDAY To my Sister...who turned 50 on the 9th of Feb and my Niece who turned 29 on the 10th. I am sad to say that I am behind on this, but the winter blizzard of 2006 here in DC is clouding my mind.
Speaking of BLIZZARD...you haven't really seen the Lincoln Memorial until you have seen it in 28 degree weather with it snowing (wet snow) at night! It was GREAT! Seriously, though...pray that the weather works out for us. We are suppose to go to Arlington Cemetary tomorrow and it is suppose to have a foot of snow on the ground...which is tricky because we are suppose to do a LOT of walking around the cemetary. It is really an amazing, sobering time and I want the students to get the full affect.
Okay...need to go to bed...getting acquiated with being tired....
Until I dig out of the snow....

Hey Charlene! Hope you're enjoying the snow! My Dad just sent me pictures of our backyard. I'm from Laurel, MD originally. It's about a half an hour up 95 from where you are now. :) I'm sure your trip to DC is amazing ... glad you're having fun!
