Snowy Saturday in Spokane

I am in Spokane with one of my closest and dearest friends. Since we have lived far away from each other for over 10 years now (though we try to get together once a year at least), I sometimes forget how easy it is to be around her. WE are VERY different, but appreciate and welcome the differences in eachother.

Since I have been in Africa I have realized that I am not very good with the Middle Stage of Friend development....the place between HI! and Now we are close, trusted friends has always been a mystery to me. In fact, I think I have often tried to skip it because I didn't really understand it. Things have balanced out back home and I think I am doing the middle stage fairly well right now with those I live with and those I live around....but it is refreshing to be around someone who really knows me.... Trisha has surprised me more than once by finishing my sentences or remembering a story I told her. We are quite the funny pair, she and I....we have had a good time so far, just hanging out...cleaning...and being together!

Good times 0n a Snowy Saturday in Spokane....
