I am not doing a very good job at updating this blog with stories and antecdotes from my life here in Africa. I have noticed that because the internet is sometimes slow, I don't like to post stuff sometimes.
So, my birthday went by fast. It was good, but hard to be away from family and friends. My two closest friends (Trisha and Roz) sent me a wonderful package of winter accessories and a great card...and it arrived ON my birthday! It was my first package (though one is on its way from mom) and a very special one, indeed.
Ministry has been great. I have had fun with the summer interns and can't believe that we start debriefing on Tuesday! This time has gone by very quickly. The other night I was talking to Niel and he said, "So how long have you been here now?" When I said a little over two months....he and Alece were shocked.... in fact, I am shocked...it seems like I have been here at least 6 months!
I am working on posting some testimonies on my website so you can read more of what is going on....
