Well, I must say I have never seen some of the sights that I saw this week in DC. It all started when we were at the WWII memorial. Right after I let my group go and look at the memorial I was suddenly overcome by a sick feeling. I headed over near the bathroom and it was full of people. So I walked to an area that was more secluded and then suddenly I threw up in the bushes. I thought things were okay and I went back to my group. We walked to the Vietnam memorial and with everystep I felt more and more sick. By the time we go there I barely choked out the information about the memorial. When I let my group go, I felt the immediate need to go to the bathroom. I quickly made my way to the bathrooms at the Lincoln Memorial....I became very aquianted with these as I spent the next 40 minutes throwing up and going to the bathroom....YUK! All the while calling my organizing teacher and having her lead the group to two other memorials before we got back on the bus. As I headed for the bus...I threw up...when I got to the bus, I threw up....when we finally left...I threw up..when we got to the hotel I threw up in the buses on my way in....
I felt like I was going to die....so, what could it be? Food Poising of course! I had shrimp for lunch and apparently it had some nice critters in it that didn't get killed before I ate them! I ended up laying in bed all day the next day and trying to get rehydrated. Today I am better but afraid to eat. I ate a real dinner....and now, I am not feeling so well. Oh Lord, NO! I don't want to take a throw up tour of Gettysburg, Lancaster, Philladelphia or New York!
Please keep my health in your prayers. I have this tour until Saturday.
See ya-
