Let me tell you the story....I was sitting in my room, spending some God time when one of my roommates came running in and screamed..."there is a snake in the house!" We immediately called Josh who brought a gun down to get it.
When he got here, we couldn't find the SNAKE! YIKES! So, as Britt described it, Josh decided it was a Rinkhal Cobra. We looked around for it in the kitchen and the house and couldn't find it.
But Josh just couldn't get the snake and it hid behind the cupboard. Josh made one small hole on the other side and poked at him a little bit and he got away and hid.
So we went about our business...ate dinner, chatted...all the while trying not to think about the ugly posinous snake in our house.
We were going to go to the other girls house, so we put flour outside of both holes so that we could see if he moved. We ended up back pretty quickly...and there was no change in the flour. So we were about to watch a movie and I heard a hiss...so I looked over in the kitchen and there it was.
Kelly grabed the gun and was about to shot it when we called Josh who told her to get really close to the head. Did I mention that this snake spits poison and is poisionous....you know like a Cobra?
So she said...uh.."NO"..."come now". So our heros (Josh squared) showed up and killed the snake. Josh took a shot, Reba took a shot and then they picked it up at the neck and cut the head off....
Now, I can sleep!

The flour idea was quite tricky thinking! Way to think on a snake's level!

Ok should I be worried for your safety? Because I AM!!!!!
I wouldn't be worried...just pray more for our protection during this month of the SNAKE! :)
And pictures to go with the story!
Pictures are courtsey of my roommate Jennifer (Niff). She is a picture maniac. If you know me, you would know that I wouldn't have even thought to take pictures of the ugly thing...
OH MY!!!
You are a brave soul!! That would have been it for me! How are you going to be sleeping?!?!? Just knowing that now they can get into the house would be enough to FREAK me out! Pray I will!!
I think if they could get into my house I would feel a wee bit violated. That's how I felt about a mouse, but now I am going to reconsider that thought! I remember when my friend was in Africa and I was getting stories from her, I would often think...Africa puts things into perspective!
Hope you're well and I super glad that you posted photo's to go with the post...as I am a photo girl!
I LOVE this pic of Reba! That's AMAZING, Aunt Char!
