The Promise

Well, a rainbow was a promise to Noah that God wouldn't ever flood the earth again, right? So, the other day I got a word where someone saw a rainbow and said that God is fulfilling his promises to me. I feel more peace about my family and my decisions to keep on going with where I am and WAIT for the next step. One of those steps is to begin the process of stepping out more in counseling Ministry and walking out a word I got downloaded one Saturday evening in May 2003. My call.. "To help people stay where they are called"....not just those in FT ministry, but all Christians who are walking out leadership in their corner of the world. After I heard this I started observing that there are tons of my peers who for multiple reasons are "Going" (whereever they may be called...pastoral ministry, missions, business) but are then "Coming back" or "Getting stuck". In fact, I have in some ways gotten stuck myself at various times...stuck in debt (anyone relate?), stuck in confusion, stuck in sin, you know....just stuck.

So, as God shows me how to get "unstuck" and stay that way, I want to help others. After all, I am an Idealist (ENFP)!!

That is all for now....I hope you are all doing well. The picture is of a rainbow that I a saw when driving with a date that was turning out to just be another friend...ohhh promises....I am holding on Lord!! :)

If there is one thing I can relate to it's waiting. But you know what... when the right "he" comes along you will be SO HAPPY you waited! Seriously it's so worth waiting for the man God has for you. I am so glad I did and I know God has someone just as amazing for you!!!!
